So, how is Tom remembered today? Just barely it appears. Most people don't seem to know who he was, which is a shame. Well, a few people know, and there have been some recent reporting in the paper about Tom's death, although if it weren't for the monument to remind people, I'd bet he'd be completely forgotten outside of some movie buffs.
